Khan heads into make or break fight

Amir Khan will be looking to show that he has the potential to be one of the best fighters around again when he takes on Carlos Molina in Los Angles on Saturday evening.

Although this should be a fight that Khan is winning comfortably, his recent form suggests that it might be a tough one for him as he has lost his last two.

If the fighter from Bolton is to go on and box the best in the world, then he needs to make sure he is winning fights and if he does not come out on top here, he might be having a serious think about his career in the sport.

Khan looks as though he is in great physical and mental condition at the moment though and there is no surprise that he is the big favourite to come out on top here. Ladbrokes have him at 1/8 to be victorious.

After being knocked down three times by Danny Garcia earlier in the year, the British fighter need to put on show here and prove to anyone doubting him what a talent he can be on his day.

As for Molina, although he is the big underdog at 8/1, he might be quietly confident of a victory given his opponents recent record.

The Mexican has an impressive professional record as well and is not just here for a big pay-day. He feels as though he is capable of causing an upset and really announcing himself to the boxing world.

It will be a very tough evening for him, and Khan knocking out Molina has a betting offer of 4/11. For that extra bit of value though, you can back the favourite winning in the fifth round at 10/1 with Blue Square.

It certainly has the makings of a superb fight.
