Lewis Hamilton was the latest to win a race when he was victorious in the Canadian Grand Prix last time out, a result that put him on top of the table.
It was a performance right out of the top drawer from Hamilton who can now go into this race full of confidence. He is also looking at to win this race for the first time.
Sebastian Vettel was yet again in and around a podium finish but ended up in 4th position. Vettel is currently third in the Drivers Championships and has a fantastic record in this race, winning the last two times.
The man sitting in second, Fernando Alonso was knocked off top spot by Hamilton last weekend and ended up finishing the Canadian Grand Prix in fifth position.
Alonso has also won this race two times before in 2005 and 2007 and a win this time out would put him back at the top of the standings
Jenson Button has faded away over recent weeks and had yet another poor race last time out, finishing in 16th position. This dip in form has seen him slip to eighth in the Drivers Championships, a massive 43 points off the lead.
Button will be looking to return to winning ways next weekend and he can be backed at 16/1 with Willam Hill to come out on top.
The likes of Nico Rosberg, Kimi Raikkonen and Mark Webber are other names amongst the contenders to win the European Grand Prix.
Yet again, it is sure to be a thrilling race in one of the most exciting starts to a Formula 1 season ever seen.
